Black Sea tour is more like a cross-country one, with
approx. 2.000 km to ride, spectacular scenery, from high
winding roads, mountain passes, to large fields..., from
modern towns to ancient villages, medieval towns and old
castles...

highway, this twisty paved road crosses the Carpathians, 2000
meters above sea level.

good friend Ionel are offering you 3 nice chalets with a big
kitchen, 10 rooms which can accomodate a max of 40 people, a
big function room and 4 bathrooms with hot water. (see pictures).
From here you'll be able to start your one or many days adventure
(at your choice) in this incredible region of the Sunset Mountain.

» Day 1 - arrival in
Cluj Napoca
After arrival and getting to know everyone..., my mother will
cook some traditional food for all of us
and we are going to have a comfortable night sleep in our beautiful
town Cluj Napoca.
» Day 2 - Cluj-Sighisoara-Balea (about
300 km)
Wake-up everybody... a brand new day for us !
Today we will have a quick city tour of Cluj and after that
we’ll hit the road to Sighisoara.
Sighisoara, named, by the Saxons, Schassburg, was the birthplace
of Vlad Tepes (Dracula).
The old town dominates the newer quarters from a rocky massif
whose slopes support a jumble of ancient, leaning houses.
And when the night comes we will be sleeping in a nice mountain
chalet on the highest mountain pass
in Romania (Transfagarasan), at 2000 meters above the sea level.
» Day 3 - Balea-Bran-Brasov (about 150
km)
This part of our journey is the most beautiful of all with the
most famous tourist attractions:
Dracula’s castle, Rucar-Bran pass, Rasnov castle, The
Zarnesti gorges and many more incredible landscapes...
» Day 4 - Brasov-Tuzla (about 500 km)
Road, road, and road again..., crossing the Danube by ferry
in our way to the Black Sea, we will taste the very special
landscape of
<<Delta Dunarii>> and Macin Mountains, this until
we realise that the smell of sea is felt stronger in the air.
As you probably know, the Delta Dunarii is an unique ecosystem
that brings together incredible living creatures.
We will spend the night in a wooden house located right on the
beach.
» Day 5 - Day 8 (about
250 km)
Enjoing the Black Sea coast...(Here I'll tell you what's to
see and you will choose your schedule for these few days)
» Day 9 - Tuzla-Baile Tusnad (about
500 km)
The return form the Black Sea will be a very "easy"
one, after few days in the sunshine and sand,
after we have tasted the Murfatlar wine and some "local"
food, we're going to have a look at other beauties of our
country and take some more baths in our incredible mountain
lakes.
